are surfboards included in the surf lesson?
Surfboards and all necessary equipment is included during the surf lesson. see full included LIST ABOVE.
How long is the surf lesson?
Surf lessons are generally 90min. For larger group sizes we extend the time.
What should i bring for my surf Lesson?
We recommend wearing bathing suit to your surf lesson and bring towel, sunscreen, long sleeved lycra surf shirt if you have one. If you do not have one we supply them during your surf lesson. We also sell lycra surf shirts and towels at our shop. We also have lockers and space for your belongings.
What are the different surf lesson packages available?
With over 24 years of Experience we have found that the best Package break down to cater to everyone is having a Non-Private surf lesson Option for 1-3 people, a Private lesson for 1-3 people! Groups of 4 or more people can have the same price as the non-Private class and have theyre surf lesson PRIVATE.
What is your cancellation policy?
We have a 24-hour cancelation policy. if you cancel within the 24 hour period of your surf lesson start time your deposit will be held. If we cancel the surf lesson due to heavy rain, heavy wind, dangerous wave conditions, or lack of waves- we offer the option to reschedule. if this is not posible we of course refund the deposits that have been made. We will always be fair.
How do I book a surf lesson?
We recommend reaching out to us by sending a Whatsapp message , Text or email (see contact us page) to check availability as well as the surf conditions before booking your surf lesson. We can help to choose ideal day with best surf conditions. On the SURF LESSONS page choose package that best suits you. Press BOOK NOW button and follow steps. if you need any help we are happy to help. Contact us. If you are close to our shop you can book a surf lesson from there by paying a cash deposit.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Paypal, Credit cards and of course cash (either USD or PESOS). After booking with a deposit (BOOK NOW) button these are options for paying balance. Note: most places in mexico cash is best either Pesos or USD.
WHAT IF I CAN'T SWIM?
Students that cannot swim is not a problem with us as the area where we teach they will be able to stand if they fall. Water is generally waist to chest high. In my personal experience of teaching for over 24 years people that cannot swim are some of the best surfers as they try really hard to stay on the board while surfing.....its actually very impressive!!
Can I book a lesson on the same day?
We recommend booking 1-2 weeks ahead of time- For high season we recommend booking 3 weeks to 1 month ahead of time. If you are in town and its last minute booking reach out to us and see. we will do our best to work it out.
do you PROVIDE lockers for belongings?
We have Lockers and space to store your belongings.
do you provide transportation?
We do NOT provide transportation services. However we can recommend transportation options depending on your location. check out how far away you are from our shop location.
What is the average wave size in Cancun and for beginners ?
We are very lucky here in Cancun as the average wave size is 2-3 foot almost all year long which is perfect for learning of for having fun improving your already existing surfing skills. For more detailed information contact us or check out the webcam of our surfing area.
is there parking at your surf school location?
We do have parking in front of our location. Space is limited. The earlier the better.
when is the best time to surf in cancun?
Mornings are generally best for surf lessons or for surfboard rentals. By choosing 7:30 am or 9:30am for surf lessons you can avoid the heat, the crowds on the beach, and crowds in the water. NOTE: Sunday afternoon is the most crowded day and time.
can i rent a Surfboard in cancun?
Yes, 360 is the best place to rent surfboards in Cancun. We rent surfboards at our surf shop /school location. We also do surfboard rental deliveries to your hotel. We recommend organizing the ahead of time at least 1-3 days in advance. For renting specialty boards or specific shapes and sizes- We can arrange this again recommend you contact us a day or two in advance and we can let you know what surfboards we have available for you.
